Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre :

Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC), Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU), Amarkantak, Madhya Pradesh established in the year 2023, has been imparting professional training through NEP Orientation and Sensitisation Programme, Faculty Induction Programme (Guru Dakshata), Refresher Course, Short Term Course, and Teachers Connectivity Programme of a large number of College and University teachers within and outside the state.
MMTTC is also organizing Professional Development course for the Non-Academic staff, Interaction Programme and NEP Orientation and Sensitisation Programme for Ph.D Scholars, Short Term Course for the Professional Development for Academic staff of Universities / Colleges, and National level seminars in various topics in different disciplines. It is certain that the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre, Indira Gandhi National Tribal University can definitely play a vital role in achieving the real goal of higher education.

OBJECTIVES:

1. Understand the significance of education in general, and higher education in particular, in the global and Indian contexts  Understand the linkages between education and economic and socio-economic and cultural development, with particular reference to the Indian knowledge system, Indian polity where democracy, secularism and social equity are the basic tenets of society
2. Acquire and improve art of teaching at the college/university level to achieve goals of higher education
3. Keep abreast of the latest developments in their specific subjects  Understand the organization and management of a college/university and to perceive the role of teachers in the total system
4. Utilize opportunities for development of personality, initiative and creativity and Promote computer literacy as well use of ICT in teaching and learning process.
