The Department of Statistics was established in the academic year 2016-17 to ignite a passion for statistical knowledge and nurture expertise across its diverse disciplines. Offering robust B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. programs, the department is dedicated to delivering transformative learning experiences that empower students to master statistical methodologies and apply them to real-world challenges across a spectrum of fields.

With a strong focus on hands-on training, students gain invaluable practical exposure by utilizing cutting-edge statistical software, equipping them with the skills necessary to analyze complex data and drive scientific discovery.
