1.       Faculty/Department Profile

            Department of Physics, Indira Gandhi National University came into being in the year 2016. Initially it started with M.Sc. (Physics) Programme with the intake of 20 students. Seven batches of M.Sc. students have passed from the Department until now. Presently, the Department is conducting  four years UG (B.Sc.), M.Sc. (Physics) and Ph.D Programme as per NEP2020. In a short span of Eight years the Department has marked its presence and faculty in the Department has fetched several Research Grants and has published several research papers in the reputed journal.
